For our final project, we gathered all of our information and created variables from them which we put into a Rhinoceros 5 plugin called Grasshopper. Working with parameters and components, our Grasshopper script in essence functioned as our drawing machines from previous assignments, with the added use of algorithmic systems. From there, a generative landscape was created in Grasshopper, composing of different patterns or shapes that responds to the landscape.
In this particular design, the site location was determined by the close proximity and diversity of different dust control zones. From there, a series of nodes were selected from the intersections of the differing zones, and based on the algorithm used, each node acted as a blender that mixes the area around it in order to create a new landscape.
