During the first week of the quarter in LA 303 Barry Lehrman’s studio we were studying the wind and sound. We went outside and sat down in any location of our choosing and then proceeded to feel our surrounding sounds and any wind that was passing through there. We would do many things like close our eyes and feel the wind and hear the sound and draw with our eyes closed. When doing this I learned more about in tuning my senses even more than what I would normally have. What I learned from the assignment was that there were many variations in the notations each student made because everyone’s mind interprets the senses differently and so when the mind commands the hand many different notations will occur. Although there were similar ones they were still different style wise.
