The original idea of the rewilding wolf is bring wolf back to the Owens valley to reduce the elk population in the center valley. However, after more deep research and considered the human-wildlife conflict in the center valley. The final design concept was build the corridor to move elk from center valley to north valley to increase the wolf-elk conflict instead of bring wolf in. in the way, the design can avoid both human-elk and wolf conflicts, and also reduce the elk over browsing in the center valley. There are two type of corridor, one is use meadow along the Owens River, another is build Corridor Bridge to help wildlife crossed the freeway and Owens River.
