Phase two of the design process was exploring topography through clay. We utilized clay to form patterns to create landforms that would guide our design to become more successful. This phase of the process was quite useful to explore with scale and possible patterns that could be implemented on a terrain. Morphing the clay into a possible terrain allowed me to try and mock the nodes and patterns that were created by the wind machine. Working with the clay allows to see possible terrains that can work at different scales and see the fine details that can be created within the models. Having models also helps with inspiration and generating new ones based on previous models that served as inspiration. I must say that this phase of the design process was actually fun!
