Fourth week in the department means field trip week for design studios, therefore, our studio went to our site for our project. Owens Valley/ Lake was the first time I had been there or near there. Besides all the research and people we met it also felt like a camping trip too. Hearing Paiute locals and explaining how the landscape has changed and how bad they feel was interesting. Being up there with our class was a great experience to understand everything that goes on the Owens lake. Hopefully the lake can change for a better where future generations can enjoy and appreciate.
